shoe launch
nike x kd
LOS ANGELES
Working with Nike was a dream come true for Knotty Pine Co. When a limited edition Kevin Durant shoe was set to drop at Dick’s Sporting Goods, KPC was hired to get people engaged and capture the moment. A 5000 sqft space was set up with “mouse trap” inspired trick shot basketball hoops, captivating kids from inner city youth groups getting to play ball with legends. Using basketball hoops as the inspiration and DIY pallet style shoe displays, this space came to life and traveled to multiple cities, giving the kids something to remember with their new pair of kicks.
It wasn't just about selling a shoe; it was about creating a memory. Seeing the kids light up when they realized that big setup in the parking lot was a custom basketball course was exactly the kind of energy you want around a Kevin Durant release.
